Ameron Hawaii, the locally owned and operated supplier of concrete and aggregate, is changing its name to HC&D, a tribute to their original name Honolulu Construction & Draying, Co.

The company was founded in 1908 by a quarry owner, three construction men, and a retired sea captain. Back then the base of the business was the drying of construction materials by horse-drawn wagons.
